David Riley, BSc (Hons) CQI FCQI CMIOSH MEWI

David first qualified as an engineer 30 years ago and has experience of general engineering and manufacturing, construction sites and heavily regulated and secure nuclear pharmaceutical sites.

David has wide experience of environmental, health & safety and quality system rollouts on all types of sites and the undertaking of specific projects such as introducing effective audit programmes and the training of a field workforce in their health and safety responsibilities. In 2014 David was asked to participate in the CQI’s Prestigious John Loxham Lecture Webinar.

David is a member of the Impartiality Committee of CSA Limited, having previously served as Chair. CSA provide management system certification to ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and ISO45001 standards.

David has been carrying out analysis of bearing failures for over 25 years, providing expert analysis reports as to the reasons for premature failures and unusual damage. Jane Riley, MA FCIPD

Jane has wide experience of managing employment and people management issues across a whole spectrum of private sector industries, having operated internationally at senior management level in a wide variety of organisations across many sectors.

This background - working predominantly with professional staff groups on an international basis - has equipped her with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, to facilitate and to work with a wide variety of cross cultural teams, building effective and lasting relationships.

Jane’s experience of working with highly professional groups ideally suited her entry into the National Health Service in 2003, where she became an expert in medical staffing management. Through this Jane has acquired extensive knowledge of the medical workforce, including terms and conditions of employment of all grades, recruitment, hands on experience of managing medical disciplinary and grievance procedures, consultant job planning, and experience of junior doctors’ hours. Having also spent time as a generalist HR business partner Jane has gained experience of Agenda for Change and the Knowledge and Skills Framework and management of employee relations across all staff groups in an acute setting.

Jane’s role within J A D Associates focusses primarily on facilitating or project managing a wide variety of assignments across a variety of customers.
